Experts from the Fujian Fisheries Research Institute focused on the technical difficulties of artificial breeding of red grouper groupers. After more than 10 years of technical research and artificial seedling expansion tests, the capacity of large-scale seed production has now been established, and the level of research has reached the international advanced level. It is of great significance to optimize the mariculture structure in Fujian.

In recent years, the original high-grade fish such as large yellow croaker, sea bream, and squid have been greatly increased due to a large amount of culture, while the cultured grouper has not changed its flavor, and its price has remained high, both at home and abroad. Both are large. At present, the grouper species require only tens of millions of tails on the southeast coast of China. Fujian grouper fish has been exported to Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, Urumqi and other places. However, the groupers are not clustered, and seedlings must be obtained by fishing or cage trapping. Due to overfishing and pollution of the marine environment, resources are drastically reduced and seedlings are being reduced. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to carry out the artificial breeding and aquaculture production of large-scale grouper and to industrialize the research results.
