A few weeks back, I found myself in Philadelphia trying out Olay's new Regenerist Luminous line, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! Honestly, I hadn’t been using a facial moisturizer for a while—yes, I know, I was slacking. For the past few months, I'd been sticking to a treatment cream as my third step in my skincare routine. Living in Florida's warm and humid climate had made me feel like I didn't need much more hydration, though that wasn't entirely accurate. My skin just didn’t love feeling too oily. That’s when the Tone Perfecting Cream Moisturizer came along at just the right moment. Since moving to the colder, drier Northeast, my skin was screaming for moisture, and boy did this product deliver! It didn’t feel greasy at all; instead, it had a light, airy texture that smoothed out my skin beautifully. And thanks to those silicones in the formula, I’ve actually been skipping my primer in the mornings because this moisturizer does double duty—acting both as a hydrator and a primer.
The Regenerist Luminous collection recently hit Walmart shelves, and the goal of this line is clear: to add luminosity to your skin, something everyone can get behind. Each product in the basic three-step regimen I tried comes packed with either exfoliating micro-beads (like in the Brightening Cream Cleanser), silicones, or light-diffusing beads that instantly smooth and give your skin that glowing look. Over time, the ingredients like Niacinamide, OliveM, Green Tea, Vitamin E, and N-Acetyl Glucosamine work their magic. Niacinamide gently exfoliates the skin, while OliveM, Green Tea, and Vitamin E protect against free radicals. N-Acetyl Glucosamine helps even out skin tone and has even been shown to reduce hyper-pigmentation by cutting down on melanin production.
Out of everything, my absolute favorite has to be the Dark Circle Correcting HydraSwirl. From the moment I saw its unique packaging, I was hooked. After using it consistently for over two weeks now, I’m thrilled with the results. Not only does it deeply hydrate, plump, and smooth my under-eye area, but it also has this subtle, light-diffusing ingredient that instantly brightens up my under-eye circles. It’s like having a little bit of makeup correction without needing tons of concealer. I’ve definitely cut down on how much I need to apply!
I could go on and on, but why don’t I let you see for yourself? Below is a video I put together for Walmart featuring the Olay Regenerist Luminous line:
