A layer of tiles at the bottom of the pot ensures proper drainage. During the growing season, it requires plenty of sunlight and consistent moisture. Fertilizing once a month helps promote healthy growth. In winter, the plant enters dormancy, and the temperature should be kept around 10°C. The soil should remain dry during this time. Adult plants should be repotted every 2–3 years to refresh the soil and support continued growth. Regarding pests and diseases, the planet is prone to botrytis and leaf spot infections. These can be treated by spraying a solution of 70% thiophanate-methyl wettable powder diluted to 1000 times. Common insect pests include red spider mites, which can be controlled with a 40% omethoate emulsifiable concentrate diluted to 1500 times. In terms of appearance, the planet has an oblate shape, typically measuring 7–8 cm in diameter. A white, stellate wool covers the top, and the center features a funnel-shaped yellow flower. Its unusual form resembles a skullcap, making it an intriguing addition to any collection. As a small cactus species, it is ideal for indoor use on desks, tables, or coffee tables, adding a unique decorative touch to living spaces.
