Researchers at the American Agricultural Research Service (ARS) have found that feed peanuts can be used as a high-nutrition diet suitable for goats. The high nutrient content of this feed peanut is mainly not from the capsule but from the leaves. They used infrared spectroscopy analysis and the results showed that feed peanuts were equivalent to the nutritional value of alfalfa. In fact, goats feed both quail and feed peanuts during the breeding season, and goats prefer to eat peanuts. For this reason, they suggested that some peanuts should be planted in pastures, especially in shepherd pasture, so that the dietary peanuts can grow in batches all year round.
